Volunteer

Internships

HUGS offers unpaid internships on a semester basis. We typically accept two Interns per semester. Though majority of our interns have come from the University of Hawaii's - Family Resources Department (FamR) we have and will take interns who are pressuring other focuses.

Intern Requirements

Current college student
Commit a minimum 100 hours total
Complete HUGS volunteer application
Attend HUGS volunteer training

HUGS is a 501(c)(3) located on the island of Oahu. We support families across the Hawaiian islands as they go through the financial and emotional stress of caring for a child with a life threatening illness.
