Groups

• Family Dinner (offered at HUGS once a month): Sponsor food for up to 75 people (half are children) Provide activities, games and/or goody bags for children
• Respites (offered at HUGS twice a month on Friday evenings, schedule is set by HUGS): Organize/provide activities and/or games for 10-20 children (i.e. relay races, game booths, storytelling, arts & crafts)
• Craft Activities: Help make birthday cards for children For the holidays - help craft Christmas cards and address them to individuals Decorate and design Laughter Wagon boxes out of a cardboard box
• Special Events: Help with fundraising events and other special events during the year (E.g., in August we have a special event called the Celebration of Life Picnic which we seek sponsors and volunteers for meals and activities)
• Toy Drives: We have two hospital programs where we constantly require new toys and stuffed animals - Laughter Wagon and Silver Lining. The Laughter Wagon program sends trained volunteers into the hospitals to play with inpatient children. That program requires lots of toys and games
